Public Comment and Hearing Notice

The Geauga Metropolitan Housing Authority (GMHA) is seeking to apply for the Moving to Work (MTW) Demonstration Program.

GMHA is inviting the public to review the attached document and provide comments regarding the proposed MTW application. A 45-day public comment period will begin on August 12, 2026, and will remain open through September 26, 2026. Members of the public may submit comments during this period.

GMHA will also hold two in-person public hearings specifically regarding the MTW Demonstration Program:

Friday, August 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
Harris House Community Room
Friday, August 14, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
Murray Manor Community Room

Members of the public are encouraged to review the proposed MTW application, attend one of the public hearings, and provide comments or feedback during the 45-day public comment period.

Notice is hereby given to the public that Geauga Metropolitan Housing Authority’s changes to the Agency Annual Plan (also known as the Five-Year Plan) and the Five-Year Capital Fund Plan are available for viewing for the next forty-five (45) days, 7/31/26 through 9/13/26, during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, at the GMHA Office, 385 Center Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024.
